What is a travel eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM profile: no plastic card or shop visit. Keep your usual number on a compatible dual-SIM phone and use HESIM for travel data.

Many plans are data-only; check calls and SMS in the offer. Messaging apps use internet where available. Compare the package price with your home operator's roaming.

Check your device before buying

Your exact model must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Regional versions can differ; check before paying or ask us.

Find EID on iPhone in Settings → General → About; on Android, look in About phone / Status. *#06# may show it too. Also check carrier lock: EID alone is not a complete compatibility check.

Installation guide

Connect to Wi-Fi and check when your plan starts. If its activation rule suits your dates, you can prepare before travel.

Use your own QR or manual details from My eSIMs. Keep the profile installed while you need it; some profiles cannot be reinstalled.

  1. 1iPhone · QR: Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. Scan your QR and follow the prompts.
  2. 2iPhone · Manual: choose Enter Details Manually; copy the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your account. Enter a confirmation code only if supplied.
  3. 3Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. Menu names vary.
  4. 4Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Set up an eSIM, then scan your QR.
  5. 5Optional: label the new line HESIM so you can tell it apart from old profiles.
  6. 6On arrival: enable HESIM, select it for mobile data and turn roaming on for that line. Keep roaming off on your main SIM and disable automatic data switching; home-line calls/SMS can still incur charges.

No internet? Try these steps in order

Try the steps below. Keep the eSIM installed, and return network selection to automatic if a manual choice does not help.

  1. 1Confirm eSIM support, carrier unlock, package coverage, remaining data and validity.
  2. 2Check that the correct, newly purchased eSIM line is enabled.
  3. 3Enable data roaming on that eSIM, not on your main SIM.
  4. 4Select that eSIM for mobile data; check any APN against your plan instructions, not a guessed value.
  5. 5Turn airplane mode on and off and allow the line time to reconnect.
  6. 6Try an allowed network manually in network selection.
  7. 7Restart the phone normally — this is not a factory reset and does not delete the eSIM.
  8. 8Still stuck? Contact support with the order number exactly as shown in your account, phone model, destination, error and redacted screenshots of mobile-data settings. Hide QR, activation codes and unrelated personal details.

Frequently asked questions

Results: 11

What is a travel eSIM, and will my phone support it?

It is a digital mobile profile. Check eSIM support and carrier unlock for your exact model before buying.

How do I buy and get my QR?

Choose a plan on the website or use the official Telegram bot. Website QR and setup details appear in your account after payment and confirmed issuance; processing can take time, so do not pay twice.

When does validity begin?

The rule is package-specific: issuance, installation or first connection at the destination. Check it before installing; if the offer does not state it, ask support before paying.

Do I keep my number? Are calls and SMS included?

Your usual number can remain on your home line if your phone supports both lines. Many plans are data-only; check the offer, and use messaging apps where available.

Can I install before travel or move it to another phone?

You can prepare before travel when the plan’s activation rule permits it. Transfer or reinstallation is often restricted; do not delete the profile or assume that sharing QR transfers an installed eSIM.

Will one plan cover several countries?

Only if those destinations are included in that plan’s coverage. A country plan is not automatically a Gulf or global plan.

What happens when data runs out? Is there auto-renewal?

Data service may stop or be limited under the package rules. Check whether that offer supports top-up; otherwise choose a new package. A prepaid purchase is not permission for recurring charges.

Does unlimited mean full speed, and can I share data?

Unlimited plans may have fair-use speed limits. Check your plan for hotspot availability and high-speed allowances.

Can I cancel or request a refund?

Changing travel plans alone does not qualify for a refund, and a working installed/activated eSIM is not refundable. For a fault or failed delivery, contact us; mandatory consumer rights remain protected.

Why turn on data roaming?

Some travel eSIMs connect through partner networks and need data roaming: enable it on HESIM as instructed, and keep it off on your home SIM.

How do I get help?

Send your order number, phone model, destination and a short description. Redact QR and activation codes from screenshots.
