What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM. You install a profile on a compatible phone instead of inserting a plastic card.
Is my phone eSIM compatible?
Dial *#06#. An EID usually means eSIM hardware is present. The phone should also be unlocked from a single carrier.
How do I install it?
After purchase at launch, scan the delivered QR code in the phone’s cellular / SIM settings over a stable connection. Do not delete the profile once installed.
When should I activate it?
Install before travel if you can. Turn on the travel line and data roaming when you arrive, unless the plan instructions say otherwise.
Can I use hotspot?
Hotspot / tethering is plan-specific. It will be confirmed on each plan at launch.
Can I keep my physical SIM?
Yes. Dual-SIM phones can keep the primary line for calls and use the eSIM for travel data.
What happens if I delete the eSIM?
A deleted profile often cannot be restored. QR codes are typically single-use. A new plan may be required.
